Ideas for How to Compliment a Student's Performance.

Point out their wonderful Loud/Soft playing. (Dynamics)
Was their fantastic playing bouncy (staccato) or smooth and connected? (legato)
Did their excellent performance demonstrate moving their hands to the left or the right of the keyboard to play high sounds or low sounds? Play putting one hand over the other?
Did their outstanding performance include making the main tune "sing out" above the accompanying part? (Balance between the hands)
Was their awesome performance rhythmic?
Was it incredible because of speed/tempo? Did they slow down to draw out some parts?
Did they have terrific posture sitting tall at the piano?
Was it cool due to their pedaling making the song a smoother sound?
